According to the Wausau Multiline Productivity Poll,

  • 70 percent of respondents reported their company has integrated lines of insurance with one commercial insurance carrier, which was significantly lower than the number (89 percent) who said the same in 2004.
  • Of those who have integrated multiple lines with one carrier, 83 percent said their company has had significant productivity savings.
  • 94 percent of those who work at companies with more than 1,000 employees were more likely to feel their company had significant productivity savings compared with 75 percent of those who work for smaller companies (101-500 employees).
  • The vast majority of respondents who have had significant productivity savings as a result of multiline integration have seen at least a 4 percent savings in their overall risk management program.
  • More than 35 percent of those respondents said their company has saved 7 to 10 percent, and nearly 18 percent said their company had saved more than 10 percent.
