The Delaware Department of Insurance has created a website that will allow consumers to compare auto insurance rates from more than 50 companies that offer auto insurance in Delaware.
The site will use more sample customer profiles any other state insurance department comparison in the country, according to state officials. It will offer sample rates for every part of the state, broken down by zip code, rather than just a few cities and towns, like most state sites. Once a consumer compares rates, they will be able to send a request to the companies they are most interested in for a personalized quote and more information – a feature that is not found on any other insurance comparison site.
