Authorities have identified the woman shot to death in a suburban Chicago insurance office.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office says she’s 42-year-old Jeniel Morgan of South Holland, Ill.
Police responded to a holdup alarm at the Illinois Vehicle Insurance office in Dolton on June 24 and were told a man was holding a hostage inside.
After a suspect left the building about two hours later, shots were fired and he was killed.
The medical examiner’s office says they’re withholding his name pending identification by relatives.
Authorities say the woman was found shot to death in the office.
Dolton police haven’t released further details.
