Zurich North America Commercial will begin accepting new business in 11 South Central and Southeastern states through its new Zurich Integrated Products unit, which services commercial customers in between the small-to-middle market segments.
Effective immediately, agents and brokers can submit new business from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
Zurich launched the Zurich Integrated Products unit in fall 2008 to fill commercial insurance needs for businesses generating between $5 million and $25 million in annual revenues.
“Zurich is encouraged by the response we have received and this expansion reflects our commitment to meet the needs of small-to-middle markets businesses,” said Vincent C. Tizzio, president of Zurich Integrated Products.
In addition to the expansion into the 11 Southern states, Zurich Integrated Products has also redesigned its Web site, located at: http://zip.zurichna.com.
“We’ve created an easy-to-use, online tool to serve as a central resource for brokers who work with commercial businesses with revenues of $5 million to $25 million,” said Bill Skapof, head of distribution for Zurich Integrated Products. The Web site features products and services information, forms and applications, appetite guides, marketing materials and contact details, Skapof said.
Zurich Integrated Products initially launched in the Midwest and North Central regions of the country last fall. The unit will continue to expand its reach until it is accessible nationwide in the third quarter of 2009.
