Employees as insureds endorsement impacts the named insured’s loss history and opens up the BAP to protect ANY employee -I note that this should only be used for key employees (top sales guy, etc…) – can be negotiated. I do not recommend otherwise. Consider the chain of events from a permissive user standpoint – the now covered employee lets his kid use the car, kid parties, crashes, bing bang boom… the employees boss is paying for it via BAP with no subro recourse.
Remember that auto has the potential to be catastrophic on any level and can easily exceed the limits available – personal and commercial – placing the named insured in a more than uncomfortable position. Be carefule when offering this endorsement without considering and explaining the change in exposure.

Incorrect assessment, Crazy. The endorsement only protects the employee when he is driving on company business for the benefit of the employer, not for any use of the vehicle. Once the car is put to any other use, there is no coverage.

You must be confusing this with the Drive Other Car coverage. A wholly different coverage.
