The Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina (IIANC) along with independent agencies and companies around the state have begun a campaign to send supplies to our troops in Iraq. To date more than 50 boxes have been shipped to service men and women.
“As our troops are fighting for our freedom, we felt that to show a token of our appreciation, we should provide them with some of the comforts of home. Although I wish these donations could bring them home, at least we are doing a small part to make them more comfortable,” acknowledged Don Evans, IIANC president.
The staff at IIANC is collecting the supplies from independent insurance agencies and insurance companies around the state. They are then packing the supplies in shoe boxes and shipping directly to Iraq.
