Dallas-based Gainsco announced that beginning in May it will be offering high-quality, minimum-limits auto insurance in the state of Georgia.
MGA Insurance Company Inc., which markets its policies and services using the trade name Gainsco Auto Insurance, will add Georgia drivers to those it already serves across several Sunbelt and southern states. The company specializes in minimum-limits personal auto insurance, which allows drivers to purchase the legally required insurance coverage at minimum cost.
Gainsco’s Georgia policies will be sold through a network of independent agents across the Peach State. The company already has a wide geographic footprint in the state, with more than 300 agents signed up in more than 110 Georgia communities. Gainsco President and CEO Glenn Anderson expects the number of appointed agents to continue to grow.
The company said its six- and 12-month auto policies include the following benefits:
No credit scoring
Competitive rates with low down payments
Coverage for drivers with previous accidents, tickets or violations
Coverage for young drivers or those with no prior insurance
Liability and physical damage coverage
Older vehicles accepted
Flexibility to exclude household members upon request
SR-22 and SR-22a policies (required for drivers ticketed for driving without insurance)
Credit card payments accepted
Non-U.S. driver licenses accepted
Several discounts available
