5 Most Misunderstood Homeowners’ Coverage Concepts

By | May 29, 2015

Many are unaware that the Academy of Insurance has four “skills tests” available. Of the four, the personal lines skills test has proven to be the most popular. Here is a link to all four tests.

From the beginning we tracked the results of every test. Five key Homeowners concepts consistently resulted in the greatest number of incorrect answers:

  1. Who qualifies as an “insured;”
  2. Who is eligible for a homeowners policy;
  3. How do the various forms compare;
  4. What are the special limits of coverage; and
  5. “Guaranteeing” replacement cost.

Because of this, the Academy recorded five webinars specifically addressing each of these concepts. Only one topic is discussed in each webinar.

Click here to review the five classes.

The webinars range from 10 minutes to 25 minutes. You can download just one or all five as a package. The choice is yours. But if you purchase all five, you get them at a discounted price. (We also have and eight-part package that includes all five HO courses and three personal auto policy courses.)

We feel sure you will find these webinars beneficial.
