Improving the state’s workers’ compensation system, developing coastal property insurance markets and increasing consumer awareness and educating them about insurance issues are key 2006 goals of the South Carolina Big ‘I.’
Frank Sheppard, incoming IIABSC president said tort reform legislative changes were the big success last year.
Natalie A. Simpson, the association’s director of communications, said there are four major events scheduled in 2006: March 22, Big “I” Day
at the State House; March 22-23, Spring Conference; May 19-22 Young Agents Confer-ence; and the Oct. 1-3 Annual Convention.
