The Ohio Department of Insurance has a new Web site address: http://www.insurance.ohio.gov.
The old address, www.ohioinsurance.gov, will remain active for a several months but will eventually be shut down in place of the new address.
“We made this change to make our Web site address easier for Ohioans to remember and to bring it in line with the rest of the state agencies,” said Insurance Director Mary Jo Hudson.
The new Web site will allow browsers to search by key words, and allow visitors to find a licensed insurance agent or agency, file a complaint and report fraud.
