In the United States, robot shipments increased again by 9 percent to a new peak level of 22,414 units in 2012 compared to 2011. In 2013, global robot sales will increase by about 2 percent to 162,000 units.
In 2012, about 41,200 industrial robots were sold in Europe.
In 2012,28,100 industrial robots were shipped to the Americas, 7% more than in 2011.
