The Progressive Group of Insurance Companies announced it is actively appointing new independent agents for its auto product in Massachusetts.
Progressive said Massachusetts became the 50th and final state in Progressive’s national auto product rollout, which went live in the state in May 2014. The insurer said it is now looking for agents interested in adding its products to their agency.
Progressive Regional Sales Manager Steven Pichette stated: “Everyone knows Flo. It’s hard to miss our commercials. But many people don’t realize we’re the leading auto insurer through independent agents in the country and we’re pleased to bring our product to agents in Massachusetts.”
Progressive said there are no specific numbers around how many agents Progressive is looking to appoint, but added that the company is looking for productive partnerships with agencies.
