Nuts & Bolts: CNA introduced CNA Connect for small business customers that will combine the company’s former business ownersí policy and commercial package policies into one broad flexible product. CNA Connect will provide agents with access to more eligible classes, broader coverages, more optional coverages, flexibility to add or delete coverages, as well as complete online rating and submission for all eligible small business risks. In addition, the new product will provide agents with greater ease of doing business through CNA Central, which has been enhanced and simplified to enable significantly faster quoting and fewer underwriting referrals. CNA Connect is available for small buisness with under $10 million in sales. The minimum premium is $500 in most states. CNA Connect, currently available in 19 states, offers 1,000 eligible classes of business but will add another 1,000 classes by the end of 2006. The product will be expanded countrywide during the spring of 2006.

Product Recall Program
Nuts & Bolts: Colemont Insurance Brokers in Chicago has launched the RecallReady program, a product recall risk management program. A key feature is the integration of pre-incident and crisis response services. The program provides each insured access to ARC Risk Management Ltd (ARC), a security risk management company in providing specialty consultancy and training on a worldwide basis.
Dollars: Colemont’s exclusive RecallReady program is specifically for U.S. based mid-size manufacturers and distributors with maximum annual sales of $500 million.
Carrier: Issued on QBE International paper, a non-admitted surplus lines insurer and Australia’s largest international general insurance and reinsurance group.

Environmental Contractors
and Consultants
Nuts & Bolts: Burns & Wilcox, a national specialty insurance agency, has formed a strategic alliance with ACE Westchester Specialty Group Environmental to administer a program for environmental contractors and consultants. The program targets small environmental and non-environmental contractors, as well as environmental consultants with annual revenues up to $2.5 million. Contractors may be eligible for stand-alone contractors’ pollution liability. Environmental contractors and consultants who qualify may also be eligible for supporting lines of coverage including general liability and professional liability. Burns & Wilcox will market, rate, quote, bind and issue the policies. In addition, Burns & Wilcox will be responsible for policy servicing, including in-house claims handling.
Dollars: Available limits of liability will range from $500,000/$500,000 to $2,000,000/$2,000,000 (per occurrence and in the aggregate). The minimum annual premium for the program is $2,500.
Carrier: Rated A+ by A.M. Best, ACE Westchester Specialty Group will provide coverage on an excess and surplus lines basis through Westchester Surplus Lines Insurance Company and Illinois Union Insurance Company, part of the ACE Group of Companies.
