The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA National) is joining with Zurich North America Small Business to honor an outstanding customer service representative (CSR) who works for a member of the association. Zurich North America Small Business will sponsor the inaugural PIA National Customer Service Representative of the Year Award, which will be presented on April 5, 2003 during an awards ceremony and luncheon in Arlington, Va. “PIA is pleased to join with Zurich North America Small Business in presenting the PIA National Customer Service Representative of the Year Award to an individual who personifies the kind of dedicated customer service upon which successful insurance agencies are built,” PIA National president Carl Stoecklin commented. “Zurich Small Business is to be commended for its leadership in supporting this important recognition.” Nominations are being accepted between now and March 7 from PIA member agents across the nation for the PIA National Customer Service Representative of the Year Award. Nomination forms can be downloaded at http://www.PIANET.com. “We approached the national PIA with the idea that customer service representatives are an important link in the independent agency distribution system deserving of better recognition,” Roger Murphy, vice president of Sales and Marketing for Zurich North America Small Business, added. “Zurich Small Business is proud to help PIA launch this program honoring the professionalism and dedication of the agency CSR.”
