On Oct. 16, 12 volunteers from the Los Angeles and El Camino CPCU Chapters, some accompanied by family members, met at the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank to make Senior Food Packages and to separate donated food items for the less fortunate and hungry people in Los Angeles County. The Senior Packages included cereal, evaporated milk, peanut butter, canned fruit and vegetables. The Los Angeles Regional Foodbank has been helping the hungry since 1973. The Foodbank serves a network of more than 1,000 charitable agencies in Los Angeles County and provides enough food for over 650,000 meals each week. The Los Angeles Chapter of CPCU made a cash donation to the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank to assist them with their future projects.
