W. R. Berkley Corporation appointed John S. Diem as the president of its subsidiary, Berkley Underwriting Partners LLC, a management company that oversees managing general underwriter (MGU) program business. The appointment is effective immediately. Diem has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry with various companies. Most recently he served as senior vice president of Kemper Alternative Risks.
