SAGe Insurance

Software AG Inc., the Reston, Va.-based subsidiary of German system software provider Software AG, unveiled SAGe Insurance, an XML-based insurance tool to reduce IT expenses related to implementation of ACORD®XML standards. The XML-based solution combines Software AG expertise (SAGe), dedicated to understanding the IT challenges in the insurance industry, and the EntireX XML Mediator product to create, transform and sequence ACORD® XML documents in a real-world environment. EntireX XML Mediator provides a new generation of technology that receives ACORD® XML documents from any source and uses a complex rules base to determine how each document should be processed and translated into a set of XML and non-XML messages. The documents are then routed in their entirety, or in relevant sections as defined by the organization’s business rules, to the appropriate internal or external systems.
