WorldGroup Consulting Inc., an Emeryville, Calif.-based technology provider, launched WG/InsureWorx, a component library designed specifically for mid to large commercial lines and group insurance carriers. Claim components are available for immediate delivery with functional point solutions, along with underwriting and billing, planned for future releases. WorldGroup’s component and functional approach enables clients to replace functional legacy areas as needs dictate, offering a manageable piece-by-piece approach to legacy replacement. WG/InsureWorx is the insurance-specific components library of WorldGroup Consulting’s WG/Worx, which is based on IBM’s WebSphere(R) Application Server and development tools. WG/Worx also includes WG/GroundWorx, technical infrastructure and WG/ProcessWorx, delivery practices.
