The BISYS Group Inc., a New York City-based outsourcing service provider, unveiled producercontracting.com, an online system automating the process by which insurers complete contract agreements with producers. An insurance company’s contracting forms are scanned and collated into packages according to its exact specifications, stored at an Internet site, and distributed electronically. In addition to automating the contracting process, producercontracting.com can collect additional data, including the information required to complete producer background checks and appointments, and other company-specific data. Duplicate data entry is eliminated, and the information can be shared with BISYS’ appointpak.com™ and Producer+® applications. Appointpak.com automates the appointment and termination process in a paperless, Internet-based environment. Producer+ contains each state’s procedures and requirements for licensing and appointment renewals, including continuing education requirements.
