New York Life Investment Management Holdings, a wholly owned subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Co., has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of Towneley Capital Management relating to the investment management of the Eclipse mutual funds and of separate accounts, with aggregate assets under management of approximately $600 million.
The acquisition is subject to regulatory and shareholder approval.
