Homebuilders Insurance Group of Bel Air, Md. recently became the 600th member of the Strategic Independent Agents Alliance, the 7th largest retail independent insurance distribution network in the country.
“It is a great honor to welcome HomeBuilders Insurance Group into our Network as the 600th Member,” says James A. Masiello, chairman of SIAA. “In just five months SIAA has expanded its membership by 100 agencies. The rapid growth of our Network is an indication of the tremendous impact we are making in the preservation of the independent insurance agency system and in the futures of all our Members by providing them with the ability to compete in their individual markets.”
“Aligning myself with SIAA and Potomac Insurance Network, solves a number of agency growth problems,” says Tom Evans, President of HomeBuilders Insurance Group. “It has satisfied my requirements to grow certain markets and additionally has created new markets. Essentially SIAA will allow me to take my agency from the Minor Leagues to the Major Leagues.”
