W.R. Berkley Corp. announced that it has named Fernando Correa Urquiza as the new president of Berkley International LLC.
Correa Urquiza, 54 years old, replaces William R. Berkley Jr., who was promoted to vice chairman of Berkley International.
The company manages W.R. Berkley’s international joint venture with Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co., said the announcement.
Correa Urquiza will assume his new role immediately. He’s currently the president of Berkley International Argentina S.A., a position he’s held since 1996.
