The American Insurance Association (AIA) announced it has named Elizabeth Northrum as public affairs director of the organization’s Mid-Atlantic region.
Northrup will be responsible for media relations, strategic planning and grassroots activities in the seven-state region. She is based in AIA’s Washington, D.C., office.
Northrup was with Goddard Claussen for three years, working with a variety of clients, including supervising a major national business organization’s tort reform project. Her prior experience includes serving as manager state affairs for the American Chemistry Council.
