The Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey Inc. has issued a call for nominations for this year’s “Distinction of Professionalism” awards to be presented at the PIANJ’s Annual Business Conference June 8-10, 2003 at Bally’s Atlantic City.
“These awards honor insurance professionals who exemplify the qualities and actions that serve as a model of industry excellence for us all,” stated David J. Madara, CPCU, AAI, PIANJ president. “I urge our colleagues to nominate the individual they feel exemplifies these characteristics.”
The bulletin described the following categories for this year’s awards:
— Professional Agent of the Year. For the agent who demonstrates excellence and achievement in the insurance marketing and service; personal commitment to professionalism; contributions to PIANJ and the community.
— Company Person of the Year. For the person who demonstrates those qualities that best foster a sound working relationship between insurance agent and company.
— Distinguished Insurance Service. For the person who has established a history of service to the American agency system and/or PIANJ.
— Community Service Award. For the agent who has had a leadership role in a significant activity for the betterment of the community and/or its individuals.
–Young Insurance Professional of the Year. For a member of the New Jersey Young Insurance Professionals who has exemplified a commitment to professionalism, networking and service and whose actions have served to the betterment of the NJYIP.
