InMarket Partners, LLC (InMarket) and Venture Programs, Inc. (Venture) jointly announced the formation of a new insurance media buying operation. InMarket’s in-house media planning and placement services will now work in partnership with Venture Media, a newly created media unit of Venture Programs (www.ventureprograms.com) in West Chester, Pa.
InMarket’s managing partner, Reg Pierce, noted, “This partnership with Venture Media will continue the teamwork of two long-term associates who have mastered the science of upfront planning, rate negotiation, editorial support and favorable positioning in the insurance trade publications over the past six years. Richard Look, former senior partner at InMarket (www.inmarketpartners.com) and now Director of Communications at Venture Programs, will head up the Venture Media unit.”
The new buying unit will place all media for Venture and its specialty insurance programs as well as InMarket’s media clients which include Professional Underwriters, Arrowhead’s programs division, Strata Insurance Agency and AVRECO. Pierce added, “The new unit will likely attract other insurance media buyers looking for insurance media expertise and frequency rate discounts.”
Speaking on behalf of Venture Media, Look added, “Reg and I have developed solid relationships with the insurance media people across the country. We simplify the media planning and approval process to deliver proven cost efficiency for publishers and reliable customer service to buyers. At Venture Programs, we see this arrangement growing over time as we add new program products and capacity down the road.”
Look estimates that Venture Media will handle $500,000 in annual media placements to the insurance trade and insurance buyer publications.
