The Banknorth Insurance Group, part of the Banknorth Group, Inc., announced that it will open a new office, located at 116 South River Road in Bedford, New Hampshire.
The Banknorth Insurance Agency “will serve customers in southern and central New Hampshire as well as parts of northeastern Massachusetts,” said the bulletin. “The office will be staffed by New Hampshire residents who previously commuted to Banknorth Insurance Group’s Portland, Maine location and others who will relocate to New Hampshire. Account executives at the Bedford office will offer customers a full line of personal and commercial insurance solutions, including auto, home, valuable items coverage, property and casualty, and employee benefits.”
Regional President Tom Deveaux noted: “New Hampshire has always been a key strategic region for Banknorth Insurance Group. Investing in a local office will help us better serve the insurance needs of Bank of New Hampshire customers as well as further support our growth in the region. It provides customers with the best of both worlds — a community-based agency with New Hampshire staff and the backing of a large financial institution like Banknorth Group.”
