Philadelphia Insurance Companies (NASDAQ: PHLY) has launched AutoIDweb, a new service on its AccessPHLY Agent Web Portal that provides agents access to their commercial auto policies with the ability to add/delete vehicles and print compliant Auto ID Cards in real-time.
Agents can also search for policies, batch import vehicles, email confirmations and Auto ID Cards, and check the underwriting status of policy changes they have requested.
“Our implementation of AutoIDweb will save our agents time and allow them to provide insureds with the highest level of customer service,” said Sean Sweeney, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Philadelphia Insurance Companies. “Further, we’ll be able to provide more timely and accurate electronic Automobile Liability Insurance Reporting (ALIR) to state agencies, which will save insureds from potential delays or registration suspensions.”
AutoIDweb uses data-validation rules and data-entry utilities including Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) decoding. As a result, data is entered or imported to AutoIDweb quickly and completely. Having richer information at an earlier time allows PHLY to streamline its ALIR compliance reporting responsibility, resulting in greater accuracy and fewer errors.
PHLY Preferred Agents can access AutoIDweb through the www.AccessPHLY.com.
