The Citizens and Hanover Insurance Companies have named James S. Hyatt president of its personal lines division. In this role, he will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s personal lines operations.
Hyatt, who previously served as president, New England Region for Citizens and Hanover, also is a member of the company’s operating committee.
Hyatt joined Citizens and Hanover in 2004. Previously, he was with The Hartford, serving as a regional vice president of the company’s property and casualty operations in Northern New England.
Before moving to The Hartford in 2002, he held numerous leadership and management roles in personal lines, underwriting, and marketing for more than 17 years with Chubb, most recently serving as senior vice president, North American field marketing manager.
