The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. on Tuesday announced that its subsidiaries, Hartford Fire Insurance Company, Hartford Casualty Insurance Company, and Twin City Fire Insurance Company, have agreed to transfer their New Jersey homeowners, dwelling fire, and personal excess liability policies sold through independent agents to Proformance Insurance Company, part of National Atlantic Holdings Corp.
The transaction is subject to final approval by the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance. Once approved, policies will transition to Proformance as they come up for renewal.
