Ken Evans, territory manager for OneBeacon Small Business in Canton, Mass., has been named this year’s recipient of the Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut Inc.’s Company Professional of the Year award. The formal presentation took place last weekat PIACT’s Annual Convention, Foxwoods Resort Casino, Mashantucket.
PIACT presents the award to the company representative who “best fosters a sound working relationship between insurance agents and companies, and who exemplifies a commitment to professionalism and service as a company representative.”
Active in his community, Evans has been involved with Indian Princesses, a YMCA father/daughter organization whose goal is to develop the foundation for a life-long relationship with one’s children. He also has volunteered his time as a softball coach and as a set builder and stage hand for elementary and middle school plays.
