Tompkins Trustco, Inc. in Ithaca, N.Y. reports that the company has received final state and banking approvals to change the holding company name from Tompkins Trustco, Inc. to Tompkins Financial Corp., effective immediately.
Tompkins Financial provides personal and commercial banking services through its three New York community banking affiliates – Tompkins Trust Co. in Ithaca and the central region, The Bank of Castile in the western part of the state, and Mahopac National Bank in the Hudson Valley region. Tompkins Financial provides financial planning and investment services through its three investment businesses–Tompkins Investment Services, Tompkins INVEST, and AM&M Financial Services, Inc. Its insurance affiliate, Tompkins Insurance Agencies, Inc., provides personal and commercial insurance services in western and central New York.
Tompkins Financial is traded on AMEX and the company’s symbol (“TMP”) will not change.
