Woodbridge, N.J.-based insurance broker NIP Group, Inc. announced that Lawrence J. Dunn III, CPA has joined the company in the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
As CFO, Dunn will lead the financial and accounting organization of the NIP Group of companies. He reports directly to Richard Augustyn, NIP Group’s CEO.
Dunn has 25 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industries. He joins NIP Group from GMAC Financial Services (GMAC), where he was managing director and chief operational risk officer for a subsidiary of this global financial services company. Prior to GMAC, he held financial positions at American International Group, Inc. (AIG) and C.V. Starr & Co., Inc. Dunn began his career in public accounting as a member of the insurance practices first at KPMG and later at Deloitte & Touche.
