Jill R. Muratori has joined Albany-based Barrett Associates as its new vice president and counsel, and will serve as a lobbyist for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of New York.
It will be familiar ground for Muratori, who most recently served as government affairs counsel for the Professional Insurance Agents of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and New Hampshire.
She has extensive experience in both insurance and government relations. She began her 18-year insurance career as a claims adjuster for Progressive Insurance Co., and has worked for PIANY for the last 12 years.
