Slightly more New Jerseyans are using seat belts.
The state Division of Highway Traffic Safety says May’s “Click It or Ticket” survey found 91.75 percent of drivers using their seat belt.
That’s up from 91.36 percent last year.
The survey found the largest increases in seat belt usage in Monmouth and Camden counties, which saw increases of 5.2 and 4.1 percent respectively.
Middlesex County had the highest usage rate at 94.53 percent.
