Selective Insurance Co. announced that Laurie A. Slader has been appointed assistant vice president for actuarial reserving and Jacqueline B. White is now assistant vice president, commercial small business leader.
Slader joined New Jersey-based Selective in January 2006 as an actuarial manager. Prior to that, she was a vice president with Swiss Re Financial Services.
White originally joined Selective in 1998 as an agency management specialist in Maryland, and was promoted to field operations manager for Selective’s operations in Ohio, Kentucky and Michigan in April 2004. She left the company briefly to serve as regional vice president for the Hanover Insurance Co. before rejoining Selective in April 2008.
