Insurance brokerage and risk management firm Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Albany, New York-based insurance broker Fuller & O’Brien Inc. for an undisclosed sum.
Fuller & O’Brien, fouded in 1923, is a retail broker that services clients primarily in the Northeast. It specializes in construction and related industries such as architectural, engineering and legal and accounting firms as well as construction equipment dealers and materials suppliers.
Fuller & O’Brien will continue to operate at its current location under the direction of Douglas Brown, Northeastern regional manager of Gallagher’s retail property/casualty brokerage operation.
