UPMC WorkPartners, part of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, has announced a new workers’ compensation product line offering dollar one coverage for Pennsylvania companies.
“Health care reform is raising awareness in the employer community to not only control costs, but to find the right business partners that can provide expertise, access, and peace of mind for employees and employers,” said Patrick Haughey, Senior Director of Workers’ Compensation at WorkPartners.
WorkPartners has already begun providing details about the new services to western Pennsylvania brokers.
Last summer, WorkPartners unveiled Leave Management services to help employers better manage absences related to the Family Medical Leave Act, Military Leave, and other employer-sponsored leaves.
Insurance services are underwritten by UPMC Health Benefits, Inc.
