Massachusetts has awarded $653,000 in grant money that will be used to provide safety training to nearly 11,000 workers in the state.
The money will go to 62 organizations across the state, according to the Department of Industrial Accidents (DIA), and will pay for a wide range of activities, including instruction in safe lead paint removal and lifeguard training.
