Four New Hampshire Agencies Form Regional Alliance

December 13, 2011

Four insurance agencies in New Hampshire announced the formation of a new partnership called Northern United Agents Alliance (NUAA). The agencies said the move will help combine their resources to meet the needs of a changing marketplace.

The four participating New Hampshire agencies are: Clark-Mortenson Agency in Keene; Davis & Towle Insurance Group in Concord; Eaton & Berube Insurance Agency in Nashua; and The Melcher & Prescott Insurance Agency in Laconia.

The agencies said the partnership was formed to take advantage of the combined strengths of their members in the key areas of management, marketing, growth and stability.

It plans to grow beyond the original four founding agencies over the coming years. The group said they anticipate communicating with agencies throughout the region that share the founders’ core values and expansion plans.

“We believe the time is right to form this alliance to better serve our clients, be proactive with our carriers and to best prepare our respective agencies for new growth and expansion down the road,” said Jeff Towle, president of Davis & Towle.

“We feel the agencies that have come together operate on the same core values of integrity within our industry, especially in serving our respective clients,” said Tom Minkler, president of Clark-Mortenson.

Marc Berube, president of Eaton & Berube, said his main goal in forming the alliance is combining agencies’ strengths and enhancing their presence and brand in local communities.

Tom Volpe, the president of Melcher and Prescott, added, “We believe this is a great opportunity for our clients. We would only align our agency with other agencies that share the same culture and value professional integrity.”
