TD Insurance, a subsidiary of TD Bank, has promoted David Lofstrom to vice president of U.S. commercial sales and product development. Based in Boston, he will help grow the commercial property/casualty and employee benefits lines of business across TD Insurance’s footprint from Maine to Florida.

In his new role, Lofstrom will be responsible for strategic commercial insurance sales projects and initiatives, working with TD Bank business partners and TD Insurance regional management. He will help boost cross-sell between the regions and specialty businesses and TD Insurance, and raise awareness of various lines of business. Since joining TD Insurance in 2005, Lofstrom has held a variety of management roles, most recently as vice president of business development in Massachusetts.
He also has served as TD Insurance’s regional vice president for Southeastern Massachusetts. He has 17 years of experience in the insurance industry. He is a member of the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents, Risk and Insurance Management Society, South Shore Chamber of Commerce and Plymouth Chamber of Commerce.
TD Insurance is one of the 10 largest bank-owned insurance agency and brokerage firms in the country. It offers general insurance and life and health insurance to half a million personal and business customers.
