Branchville, N.J.-headquartered Selective Insurance Group appointed Annabelle Bexiga as a new independent member to its board of directors.

Bexiga is the chief information officer at TIAA-CREF, a Fortune 100 financial services organization and a provider of retirement services in the academic, research, medical and cultural fields. Positions prior to TIAA-CREF include chief information officer at Bain Capital LLC, managing director and chief information officer
at JPMorgan Invest Inc., and senior roles at Lehman Brothers and Deutsche Bank.
Selective Insurance Group is a holding company for eight property/casualty insurance companies. The group is ranked as one of the 50 largest P/C insurance groups in the country.
