K&B Underwriters, a program administrator and wholesale brokerage serving agents and brokers for senior living facilities, hired Paul Marshall as director of senior living programs.
Marshall has 23 years of experience in the insurance industry, largely focused on long-term care and healthcare professional liability (LTC-HPL) insurance.
Marshall most recently served as vice president of healthcare underwriting at American Safety Insurance. Prior to this post, he served as director of insurance business development at PointRight Inc. Marshall also previously served as vice president of healthcare liability programs at Neace Lukens. The first 13 years of his career were spent in direct retail insurance agency sales and operations management.
Based in Reston, Va., K&B Underwriters serves insurance agents and brokers for senior living facilities. K&B provides nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities and other senior living risks with insurance programs and specialized risk management services.
