Selective Insurance Group in New Jersey Announces Officer Appointments

Selective Insurance Group in Branchville, N.J., announced the following appointments by its subsidiary, Selective Insurance Company of America.

Thomas Case has been named vice president, Business Intelligence & Analytics. He is based in Branchville, N.J. Case joined Selective in 1981 and has held various positions throughout the company prior to being named assistant vice president of Business Intelligence in 2011.

Maria Orecchio has been named vice president, assistant general counsel, based in Chappaqua, N.Y. Prior to joining Selective in March 2014, Orecchio served as senior counsel at Clyde and Co. U.S. LLP.

Robert Redden has been named vice president, Agency Development. He is based in Milford, Penn. Redden joined Selective in 1988 as an intern and has held a variety of positions throughout the company prior to being named assistant vice president of Agency Development and Market Innovation in 2012.

Peyton Artz has been named assistant vice president, Corporate Claims. He is based in Richmond, Va. Prior to joining Selective in February 2014, Artz was a regional large loss manager at Hanover Insurance Company.
