American European Group Hires Livaich to Lead AE Specialty Unit in N.J.

American European Group Inc. has hired Peter J. Livaich as senior vice president of its managing general agency subsidiary, AE Specialty Inc.

Livaich will have overall leadership responsibility for Cherry Hill, New Jersey-based AE Specialty.

AE Specialty is a newly-formed property underwriting manager that will target distressed, coastal and large property risks throughout the U.S., American European Group Inc. said.

Livaich has over 40 years of insurance industry experience, including his most recent experience at Companion Property and Casualty Group and Global Indemnity.

American European Group Inc., based in New York City, is a diversified insurance holding company which, through its managing general agencies and insurance company subsidiaries, offers property/casualty insurance products.
