Lockton Hires Gelot as Senior VP in New York

Lockton Companies hired Marie-France Gelot as senior vice president and insurance claims counsel with the Lockton Financial Services Group. Gelot is based in Lockton’s New York office.

In her new role, Gelot will work with Lockton’s financial institution and commercial clients on complex insurance claims and coverage issues in directors and officers (D&O) liability, professional liability, employment practices liability, crime/fidelity, and fiduciary liability.

Gelot brings more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry to Lockton. She previously served as senior vice president and claims advocate at Marsh & McLennan’s FINPRO Practice. Prior to that role, she was an associate attorney at two insurance coverage law firms where she handled complex claims and coverage issues focusing on financial and professional lines insurance.
