Concord Specialty Risk, a New York City-based managing general underwriter and underwriting agent for a number of carriers and a series of RSG Underwriting Managers LLC, specializing in providing transactional risk insurance, hired Lidore DeRose as senior underwriting counsel, representations & warranties (R&W) insurance.
R&W Insurance covers buyers or sellers (and lenders) in connection with representations made in a stock or asset purchase agreement or in a merger agreement.
Prior to this position, DeRose was an associate, Corporate and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Practice for Kirkland & Ellis LLP in New York and an associate, Corporate and Securities Practice for DLA Piper LLP.
DeRose brings to hew new role 10 years of sophisticated M&A experience at major law firms that have frequently directed their clients to use R&W insurance. DeRose is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey and the District of Columbia.
