
RiskMatch, a Greenwich, Connecticut-based business intelligence and analytics firm that provides insurance portfolio management and placement services to brokers and insurers, promoted Adam Kagan to chief client engagement officer.
Kagan, who joined RiskMatch in 2013 as chief sales and marketing officer, has more than 26 years of insurance industry experience. In his new role, he will work directly with RiskMatch clients, including insurance brokers, insurers, wholesalers, and managing general agents.
During the course of his career, Kagan has held a number of senior management positions with insurance brokers, insurers and wholesalers. Before joining RiskMatch, he was chief market relations officer at CRC/Crump Inc., responsible for the development and expansion of carrier relationships for wholesale and specialty programs.
Previously, Kagan was with Marsh for 17 years, serving in a number of client and management capacities, including managing director and market relationship leader for U.S. operations. While at Marsh he also led market relationship efforts for the firm’s Global Property Practice, developed the National Middle Market Property group and had various geographical leadership roles. Earlier, he held broking, sales and management positions with Johnson & Higgins and gained experience in underwriting with Arkwright Mutual Insurance (now FM Global).
