All Risks Ltd., an independent wholesaler based in Hunt Valley, Maryland, has hired Steve Davis as underwriting manager in the National Specialty Programs unit.
In this role, Davis will continue to grow the existing programs, as well as share responsibility in developing and marketing new niche programs for admitted and non-admitted products distributed through All Risks retail agency channels. He will also have responsibility for ensuring current program offerings are keeping up with the needs in the market.
With nine years of insurance experience on the carrier side, Davis most recently was middle market sales underwriter at Hanover Insurance Company in Towson, Maryland, where he handled partner agency accounts, generated new business, and managed renewal accounts. He was also responsible for marketing, agency planning, and mainly focused on niche businesses that consisted of schools, real estate, human service, and technology.
All Risks Ltd. is an independent wholesaler offering insurance services with brokerage, contract binding, exclusive national programs and specialty personal lines products for retail insurance agents and brokers nationwide. The 51-year-old firm employs over 750 staff members in offices across the U.S.
