Independent Insurance Investments Inc. (4I’s), a holding company formed to invest in non-standard personal lines automobile insurance companies and related service companies, appointed Joe DeLago, CEO of Good2Go direct marketing division, to its board of directors at its October 13 board meeting in Blue Bell, Penn.
“When Joe joined the company in 2011, the direct to consumer channel was a brand new idea,” said Jim Comis, Chairman of the 4I’s board, in a press release announcing DeLago’s appointment. “He created and launched the Good2Go initiative, which has proven successful in the marketplace and is now the major driver of the insurance company’s growth.”
Previously, DeLago was CEO of TPG Direct, a direct response advertising and marketing agency, chief marketing officer for AIG’s personal lines business, and chief marketing officer for Colonial Penn Group.
The current 4I’s insurance operation was created from the combination of American Independent Company and OMNI Insurance in 2006. The Company markets and sells its products through traditional insurance agencies and through 4I’s captive direct to consumer business, Good2Go.
