The Main Street America Group, a Jacksonville, Fla.-headquartered super-regional property and casualty insurance carrier, has promoted Jerry Waters to vice president and chief accounting officer, effective immediately.
Waters, based in Keene, N.H., joined Main Street America in 2010. Since that time, he has held positions of increasing responsibility within the company’s financial reporting and controls organization, most recently as director of corporate accounting.
In his new role, he will continue to be responsible for accounting and tax planning functions for the company.
Prior to joining Main Street America, Waters served as a reinsurance accounting manager at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.
